Pioneer light color

Sorry if this may be a little off topic, but i was gonna change the color scheme of my car, and i was wondering if any of you have taken apart a Pioneer HU and changed the colors. (specifically the deh-2400) the blue back color is alright, but the green buttons are killin me! lemme know if any of you out there have done anything like this!

never heard or even thought about it, but if you could pull it off, that would be killer.

it makes me mad that pioneer makes head units with red/amber buttons, but only for their cheap walmart line.

It can be done, but it requires quite a bit of skill with a soldering iron, and some really specific sized lights (never done this Pioneer, but I've done a few Alpines)

Usually runs about $10 in supplies, but about $70 in labor (if you're looking to have it done) Some people say it's worth it... some say otherwise.

alright, i pulled it apart, and it looks way too complicated. i thought maybe there was a single light lighting them all up, but it looks like each individual button has a light embedded in it. looks like i have green buttons

i changed all the stock cd player lights to blue. I put little pieces of blue film behind each button. I had to pop each button out. It looks white during the day. But at night it turns blue. I did the same thing with my ES guages..... THat was a *****! BUT WELL WORTH IT
