well. if your looking for opinions.... ditch all the badging... if not the lancer and es, at least the dealer sticker. Whats up with that exhaust tip? sticks out much to far. At that angle the antenna does look funny. haha.

Welcome to the site.

Ditch the dealership and the ES logo - you will end up confusing people.

Is there such thing as just a plug to fill the hole after you remove the antennae?

Here's a quick antennae mod, lol.

The stock antenna unscrews and you screw in the replacement short antenna. The shorter antenna looks great... definitly the way to go!

I realize how to do the swap but I was wondering about going with no antennae at all. But don't want the hole left after you unscrew the stock one.

I think I'm going to stick with the shortened one though.

Yeah.. probably a good idea. For one, it's cheaper... and second, if you decided to get a Rexpeed vortex generator, they already have a spot moulded for the stock antenna perch, so you'd regret it if the perch was gone at that point.

Haha, no, I would leave the nub but just have no antenna. But doesn't matter now, I like the look of the shorter antenna and will be keeping it as is. Don't think the vortex generator is in the plans either.
