Congrats! The new lancers definitely look awesome... I'm really disappointed in the lack of true manual shift however. Maybe I'm out of the loop on it thou, is it even available?

Ok... In order.
LVG:
Stock system sounds really nice. There is a lack of true EQ adjustment. You have Punch(Sub) / Bass/ Mid/ High /Fader/ L-R After that you can select Field adjustments like live, stage, normal plus a preset like Rock, Jazz, Country etc. Don't get me wrong it is loud and nice but just a little more adjustment would be nice.

They sticker for 22,615.00. Invoice is 20,968.00 not counting any dealer holdbacks.
I got the car for 21,000 even, with $200 more for my trade then any other dealer would give me. Then they tossed in the trunk mat and net for free which equals about $150 I guess. Their dealer holdback (kickback) was $365.00 when I got mine. I also got a bunch of oil changes for free becasue they made me wait a week after a dealer mistake with the car.
It is not slow at all. The paddle shifters really feel great because the CVT always keeps the engine at higher RPM to keep in the torque band. When you shift it is quick and it does not feel like an auotmatic at all because the rpms stay high so you just right into the next "gear" right in the band. The best place to use it is on the highway to pass. Just tap down a couple gears take off and pass.

See above...it really has good pickup. That CVT keeps it right in the power band and since there is not shiftp points for the RPMs to drop and come back up you stay right int he band all the way up. In fact my state requires Cali Emissions so mine has 143HP and I drove both this one and the 154 and noticed really not true difference they are both quick.

Fast Key is great. Nice concept and the NAV is fast since it reads off the HD. It is not just a NAV system for that 2xxx.xx You also get the music server plus some nice control over some of the other parts of the car and calendar that remind you of important dates, Maintenance info etc etc. So you get quite a bit more then jsut a NAV system.
I also noticed that when you turn on the fog/driving lights and then turn off the headlights they don't turn back on when the headlights are turned back on. Interesting
Here are the night pictures.

Correct the five speed manual is just that. The other option is the Automatic with out paddle shifters on the lower model and the automatic with paddle shifters on the mid and GTS model.
I have driven a couple Acuras with the tiptronic shifting, where you tap the stick for up and down. Only issue is it truly acts like an automatic. It waits about 1-2 seconds after you tap the stick then it shifts...but the RPMs drop and have to climb back up like a traditional automatic would shift.
I have also driven a Maserati. A friend of mine owns one. It really has paddle shifters on a "Manual" Trans. Even thought it has a stick like an automatic it is still considered a manual because the car has a computer controlled clutch that when you hit the paddle shifter it forces the clutch in, shifts the gear for you, then lets the clutch back out. It all works very fast.
Then Lancer feels more like the Maserati because it keeps the engine reved when it "shifts” Makes for more power...I am very happy with it. I have driven manuals my whole life and I am really enjoying this car...biggest complaint I have about automatics is the nasty shift points...well this car does not have that problem because there are none.
