It's 1200 degree blue paint from autozone. Don't remember the brand, but its in the goldish can with a pic of the side of a V8 with long headers coming down. The first time I painted it, and sanded the crap out of the valve cover all over it, then wiping it all off with a wet towel and drying it, then painting it in like 2 coats. This time though, I just barely sanded it really quick and didn't even bother cleaning it. I just scuffed it up really fast and then sprayed it in 2 coats. I'm surprised it came out that smooth.

Word of advice, when I first painted my valve cover, I got the car serviced afterwards and they said that when you remove it, you mess up the gasket seal and have to buy a new gasket ($79 from Mitsu). So be careful and don't buy it unless you see that it's leaking. Mine also might have been leaking because I lost a bolt for the valve cover (which they replaced for free). Also, what color are you going to go with? My friend did yellow in his Honda and for some reason, that paint (same brand and type and everything) was really watery and he had to put it on in very thin coats so it didn't run. But the flat black looks amazing, and the blue isn't bad. It can be made glossier with a couple clear coats. Good luck with it.

ahh thanks for the heads up on the gasket seal. ill definitly watch that when I decided to do it.
I was planning on just going with a rally red, so i can color match everything easily with RRM strut/sway bars and engine mounts.

Hey thanks for all the comments. I checked the tracking status for my vortex generator just now. It says estimated delivery is tomorrow but update says it is on a truck for delivery right now in Bryan, TX only 1 hour away from me. So maybe I will get it in today. I'll definately have it installed and pictured as fast as possible.

OK, I got it yesterday. It came in perfect condition, but no sticker. No big deal. So after I get a shower and stuff, I will be putting it on. I'll get more pics after that.
