I don't get how it's a performance upgrade...slower accel...poorer braking...handling I assume doesn't change (unless you're talking about the tires?)

I like them, cuz I actually considered them too! But I don't see how handling improved, unless you had bald tires and them got these with excellent grip. 15s are about the perfect size for performance, handling, etc etc...

i got those in 17's very heavy and yes you can feel the slower acceleration... not worth it IMO.

the tires is what helped the handling. Better response due to the stiffer sidewall. The wheels made you slower as has been mentioned.

Im personally not a huge fan of those wheels. Need some better pics.

I had 18s before and that car did look good, but was a little sluggish. The handling is the stiffer sidewall as mitsuozboi metioned and the fact that thos being 18 are probably 7.5-8" wide and thus a wider tires which will grip better than the stock 15s.

Looks good man.

btw, my 18's handle way better than any 15" tire I have been through. Wider tire width and stiffer sidewall than stock. Slower, yes but not on the corners....but who cares....its a lancer. If you want fast get something else.
