Hey, I was at Harbor Freight over the weekend and they have a DIY kit for $5 and a tool to do it for you for $10/12...

Really?^ You mean a tool to bore the holes right? Cuz thats the hardest part, takes some patience.

i just bought a carpet and slammed it on top of my OEM carpet=)guess wat my OEM carpet is still lookin brand new haha. Nice heel plate though

To bore the holes? In this example, the holes are already in the heel plate. Take a rivot, stick it in the hole, use the rivot tool to rivot it, and done! Not sure exactly what was meant there?
