Ok guys I am painting the car at the end of June and I am having a lil trouble selecting a new color.I currently have a long beach blue pearl paint job on it (which is origionally from the 2004 up acura NSX)but i had that color since 2004 so the demand on making your car noticable on this small little island is very demanding due to all the nice cars here.So I have the electric blue in mind which you all know comes on the evos.Just wondering if you guys have any other colors that might look nice? BTW I have an evo 8 wing,vortex generator,black headlights,carbonfiber taillights and the evo 9 diffuser rear bumper on the way which i am spraying the diffuser black.and i am spraying the the rims black w/polish lip and trunk black to blend with carbonfiber hood.

 

first thing I notice... dont spray the trunk black... if it isnt CF, leave it color matched. EB probably would look good but I say get it painted flat red. haha...

do you wanna stay with a blue color? I also like black with a blue pearl or white with a silver pearl.

 

I agree, up close a black painted trunk is going to look bad (and cheap)

It does not really have to be blue but I definately wanna have a pearl just not a hot color.and i don't really want black for 3 reasons because black is common,hard to clean and i want my cf hood to stand out.btw any idea of which red you were talking about?

 

Electric blue Pearl Is a Sweet looking color thats on the 08 Lancer GTS.

That is what it said in the gallery below the picture. I dunno if thats the code or not. I know you could order the paint but I dunno if they would give you the code or not.

I have to say that the flat blue on that Subaru is goregous.
if I were you and you wanted to go with a blue then I would go with the flat dude.
it may not look great up close but from a short distance it is beautiful.
