Yup, then all you have to do is polish with the same stuff you use on the exterior. Shines like a ****.

Thanks, I appreciate your opinion. I just don't understand how anyone can stand the very obvious from a distance fake checker board CF crap. Its boring and ugly.

Does anyone know of a company that can wrap the fake CF with real CF? Or would it just be easier to buy the dash dress up kit for it? I would love to find some place that sells a completely real CF kit to replace the fake CF one my car came with, but I am sure that would be expensive as hell though.

I did some plastic dye on my interior in my 04 Grand Prix. It's not too hard to do, but finding the proper plastic dyes are sometimes tough and there is less of a color range than paint. The upside is that it's a super thin layer as opposed to paint, seems factory and that it was that color from the start. You can clear coat parts as well to keep them from wearing, but it doesn't scratch like paint does either.

I am thinking about doing this on the Lancer. Need to figure out the what exactly... the silver dye I have matches that on the steering wheel though so I already have a good supply of the stuff.

08Lancer89, did you have it done at a local place or was it done by a larger chain?
