some autox pics

here are a couple pics of my second autox event ever.

the first event i took second in my class, and this last event i took first in my class and beat the second place car by 5 seconds. both times there were six other cars in my class.

here are some of the other cars, total we had 55 cars show up to race two events in a row.

first is the factory lightweight m3 driven by russ wiles, on of the top scca drivers in the nation

Is your Lancer turbo? What you got done to it?
I wonder if my Lancer would place in an AutoX event?
What kinds of cars did you compete against?

Lol just wondering, I've always wanted to do this kind of race; looks like a lot of fun, congratz on doing so well!

First of all, congrats on the win and I'm really glad that lancers are starting to rep auto-x now. ( I race in Las Vegas in the STS class )

DSP ??? How'd you manage that one ? What are your mods?

I love it too and I hope you'll contune to do well in your events.

Yeah, I'd like to know the same. He's got the progress/rrm sway bar + the perches, couple strut bars, tie bar, K&N sri.. etc... I had the same sri, sway bar, and front strut bar and they stuck me in sts. WHAT? Don't you also have a full catback?

i dont know how i got in that class, there was some confusion when classing it.

and ifelldown is right about all my mods and i do have a full catback

Did you class it yourself or did they look at a mod list and put you in the corresponding class?

the people who set up the events classed it according to my mods, maybe they classed me like that cuz it was a base model lancer and they didnt expect anything out of it!!
