They came out really well but everyone is just curious to see how they will last in the long run, that's all. 450 for the set! Man, that is sick. Where did you get the brackets/sliders. Sucks about the gap. I know some other guys on here have the evo rear seats and they fit fine. See if you can search and see what they did to eliminate the gap.

Did you remove the fabric from the seat while dying it? What brand dye did you use and what color was the dye? I ask because the center portion of the sparcos looks to be a different shade of black than the dyed parts.

It is different, I didnt dye the center portion cus it was already Black.
I think the slight offset looks cool actually.
I pulled the fabric off in certain areas like bottom-sides, and pulled out
the cushion to get the insides. I didnt have to take the top/back portion off.
Some parts I couldnt get off, cus their hooked underneath to the frame
of the seat.
The dye is Jet-Black Acrylic Stain, its made by Mayco.

as for the evo rear seats: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&postcount=153
they WILL fit better than you've got going on right now. also the clips for the evo VIII WILL fit underneath the rear seats and that helps hold them in place a ton. everything needs to be really shoved around and pushed into place, but i helped my friend put those evo seats in his lancer and it turned out great.

OK closed while I clean up. F---in children, let him do what he wants with his car. I'm sure by now he knows that the majority doesn't like the tach and thinks the seat dye will rub off. Not much he can do about the seats now right? I thought they looked good in white but they also look good black. I sure as hell don't have the money for comfortable racing seats, so thumbs up on that.

There, doesn't that look so much nicer lol? So calm down, stop talking trash and trying to be smart asses like you know everything. If it has to be cleaned up again, I'm keeping it closed.
