alright all, so my trunk build is finally done, and thank god, i was starting to think i would never finish it...(i kept changing ideas and plans)

but after a long long. long, long, long, long time, here is what you have all been waiting for

cheers

overall shot, a 2.2 cube sealed box underneith, with trim panels to cover and black carpet to match

side view

another

a close up on my baby, a 15" Ascendent Audio Avalanche

trim panels on deck lid (covering dynamat)

another, still need to trim a little dynamat out of the way, but overall i think it was a success

I give you credit for diy...but it could use some work. But some care more for functionality than the "show" factor.

jeez! talk about a huge 'woofer' in the trunk. i like how u closed up the holes for crumpling tho. how does the car sound from outside when the bass hits? i dynamat'd my car a bit, but i didnt do it in the spare tire are so, it still rattled like a p.i.t.a. good job tho. have any pics near the spare tire since i brought up that area? or does the sub go down below the trunk liner?

lol, ya it is a little big, maybe im over compensating for something

but either way, from teh outside, it sounds like i dont even have a sub, the dynamat keeps 95% of the pressure (aka, bass) inside the car...and i would get pictures in teh spare tire well, but that would mean i would have to un do all the beauty boards and literally crawl down in there, which, after a day like today, im simply not willing to do, . perhaps in a week or so when i paint those screws ect...

and to answer your final question, no the encolusre doesnt go below the liner, you know that false floor mitsu put in there, well it sits on top of that and extends about 4 inches over on each side for extra support.

anymore questions?
