Just Sharing my Shift System Setup..

I think I'm about good, minus a Steel Braided Clutch Cable, whattya's say?

I added all these Bushings between yesterday and today..

Speed Source Shifter Linkage Bushings
KartBoy Shifter-Base Bushings
B&M Short Throw Shifter

Thought you guys might like to see..

The shift-feel is phenomenal. Its gotten tighter, and quite precise compared to OEM.

I really want to do this some time in the future. How much did it cost all together? and was it really worth it?

Its definitely worth it. Lancershop has a sale on Authority short shifters if your not into something so expensive but the feel you get from a short shifter is amazing. Almost makes you think your car goes faster with it

I liked GM synchromesh, it's cheap, readily available and works great. Clutchline doesn't do much, save your money.

E-Z..
In the Shifter Base, You just Push the Old Bushings out, & Drop the KartBoy's in.

Torque the Bolts to 102in. lbs. (or 12nm.)

You can do it in no-time.

The Linkage Bushings were easy too.
I just followed the How-To in the Evo Section.
Its simple to figure-out, once you know where the mechanism is located,
and take look at it.

The Bigger Linkage Bushing is the PITA.
Its lower, and the other one is on-top of it, in the way.

You wont need to replace the OEM Washer, since the Brass Bushings are
for 1. Brass.. & 2. are about as thick as OEM with the washer on.

That swap only took about 10 Minutes, and thats mostly trying to get the PITA Bushing out..
