Vandalism...

Is a total B*tch... A few months ago my car got paintballed... Than a few weeks later the car got broken into... They rummaged through everything, but ended up stabbing the top of the trunk lid with a screw driver and stabbed the passenger seat about 40 times with a screw driver. I can post some pics a little later. Why do people have to suck? (It ends up costing me money )

That does truly suck man! Is the car parked outside in an area that could be monitored by a camera?

Where I'm at right now is just outside of Rockford. The subdivision is only a little over 2 years old and they just finished it this summer. There is no camera's no nothing. I have noticed over the course of living here, parking your car on the street is bad. Due to the fact people always seem to find the need to egg our cars. (or in my case paintball mine) I have actually been considering getting some cameras and putting them around the cars cause that is total crap.

Man people like that really do suck. I would be completely bummed if someone would to that to my car. Luckily in my area, the cool thing to do is drive by mailboxes and hit them with baseball bats.... totally annoying but at least my car stays unharmed parked outside

i'd set up some kind of camera system if i were you. a few times when things were fishy in the neighborhood i set my DV camera up as a webcam and recorded the entire night of video direct-to-disk.

i hope you can get stuff taken care of with your insurance company. i know my policy has a $500 deductible even for vandalism. i like that, paying twice.

i hope it gets fixed up soon!

When I was younger, I always wondered why my parents never reported things to the insurance company and instead DIYed the repair.

Now I understand totally. My last car got hit by a BB and a beer bottle (separate incidents). Both times, the repair work would cost less than the deductible. That's f*cking sad.
But I hated that car, so I never fixed either problem.

it's probably some bored kids. definately post pics, i wanna see how messed up everything got, sounds bad.

my whole family (mom's side and dad's side) live in the chicagoland area, we're the only people not back home. my aunt's family lives in rockford so i'd like to know some specifics, let them know what to look out for/possibly help you find out who did this.

Its not to bad. 4 paintball dents down the driver side. The 50 stab marks in the seat. and the Screwdriver stab on the trunk.

No one in my neighborhood i think would do this. Cause we have also had awhile ago maybe a year ago a string of car robberys in our whole neighborhood. It just has to be some idiot people who don't respect other peoples things. I'll let you know if anything happens. If your ever in Rockford let me know. It would be nice to meet more people.

I just got the paintballs dents removed on wednesday with the Dent Wizard paintless dent removal. Looks amazing couldn't even tell they were there. Now my car goes in on August 27th to get the trunk lid repainted and front seat replaced. I'm excited.
