I don't see a difference. Personally I'd still go with a ralliart grill.

 

I'll wait for some day pics cause its pretty hard to see the details...

 

looks like my car from the front , black out grill, polished mits emblem, and black headlights on a white car, BTW it looks alot better when you paint ur mirrors white also(i painted minez)

 

Grills not Blacked-Out. Its still Chrome but the pics at night.

 

Is there a car in that pic? Maybe, I cant see it cause that tachometer is in the way. lol j/k

Yeah lets try to drop that subject, people have been saying for years how much they hate it but it doesn't look like it's going anywhere. It's just a minefield that's best to avoid.

 

I like my Auto-Meter Tach, its just a preference. However, taking everyones gripes into consideration, I think Im gonna paint the back portion Black, so its more subtle in the windshield.

I'm sorry but you're never going to make that thing subtle, you could paint it camo and put it in the jungle and people would still point it out.

 

Maybe you can take a closer pic....that way we can maybe see what you are talking about. It looks stock to me.

 

Autometer Monster Tach was the rage back in 99 =]

I also like the ralliart one much better. The tip doesn't seem to belong IMHO.

 

It is stock, but the thong is gone. It just goes into a point, instead.

It looks like Im gonna have to actually cut out the thong, and mold the Black Plastic Grill peices across it, in order to make it look right.
