poll: Should I have a body kit or not?

Okay like the title says this is a poll I have researched for about 3 or 4 months on body kits, I cant decide on one hand 10000 body kits and on the other just lowering it new wheels and such would look good... so I need some help tell me if you think I should stay with what I have the OEM look or should I go to a body kit and if you think a body kit tell me which one...

My car will have new rims and be lowered so please put that into consideration... as lowering and new rims make the look 1000 X better
okay picture of my car..

if you want a body kit... it needs a drop and bigger wheels to go with it in my opinion. otherwise it looks dum. get your wheels and drop at same time. then find the kit you like.

Nobody can decided for you if a body kit is appropriate. Everyone has a different opinion and everything has a different idea of what looks good. I personally don't like body kits of any kind but others like them.

Before you think about a body kit, wait until you lower it. I know you said you are going to, but wait after you drop it to decide if you want to get a kit.

agreed. I didnt realise how much of my driving style had to change after I was dropped and have a front bumper. I scraped all the time when I first got it.

It's a matter of personal-opinion and self-expression! I don't think we can answer this for you...

alright, IF i didnt want your opinion I would not have posted a poll asking for it... not to be rude but I realized it is my choice and thats what I'm trying to say I love both looks... so I just wanted to see what the general public of lancer drivers would think and go from there... when i get it lowerd it will be an adjustable kit so I wont have to worry about it scrapping and such, just a simple question do YOU think body kits look better or just OEM

I think it depends on the kit. Kits the crazy amount of vents and angles that dont match the vehicle look horrible. I like the ken style which is what I have and I like the kaminari kit. Both flow with the lancer very well... body kits sit few inches lower then a stock bumper... with a kit, even if you lower your car 1/2" you will have to worry some about scraping in certain locations. There also is the option os just a front lip. RMR sells two styles. www.rmrproducts.com

yeah, I understand what your saying see the problem I have is that with my 2 L7's in the trunk its like off balanced the front wheel gap is almost 4 or 5 inchs its really bad, and the back its really low.... But back to topic, I need to decide with the kit in almost the next week because I have a chance to re paint my whole car for cheap and I just wanna do it all at the same time..

I think that you just shouldn't get the kit. I got a Evo VII front conversion, and I wish I was back to stock. There's the carbon hood that is all deformed, not to mention the fiberglass front bumper keeps scraping and hiting things while only lowered on springs. Another reason being that you keep asking other people for their opinions, when you will be the one paying for it. Once you are 100%, no, 110% sure you want the kit, get it, and just respray the kit to match the car. If that is too much hassle for you, then you need to learn the first part of modification, which is you need to pay to play. You have multiple opinions now. Mine being stay stock with a nice drop, other's being get a kit as long as you have the wheels and drop first. The choice is yours.

You are a real smart *** or something, I am the one pay for it as where I do have the decision to leave it in the publics hand, I simply wanted an answer yes or no thats it... if yes what body kit if no click no and move on...
and the first part is not pay to play, not to me, I think if you wanna be the better modifier you should be doing the work your self instead of paying for other people to do it, thus not paying to play... but alright man thanks for the opinion
