^from a neutral perspective, you kinda sounded like a jerk, no offense. Back on topic though, I think your car will look great with rims and a drop. I suggest black rims with a chrome lip, or (if you think thats overdone) bronze rims. I kinda wish I went with bronze rims myself

If you dont want peoples opinoins then why the hell did you post this up? I didnt find his statement rude or "smart *** like" in anyway. He was telling you from his experience that he wishes he was back to stock. "pay to play" was refered to probably the amount of times he has had to refinish the front from bottoming out or whatever.. Are you going to be using your school resources everytime you hit a rock or a steep driveway? It seems like you are already set in what you want to do, so do it and be happy..

I say no body kit. The OZ lip is just fine, plus you'll love your car once you get new rims and that drop.

Getting an opinion is fine, but it's a personal choice. I can't tell you what to do since I'm not you, this isn't asking what color rims to get, what kit to get, etc. this is a far more fundamental question. I told you my opinion, I don't like kits in general.

You can easily make a lancer fast using the money needed to get a decent paint job/body kit. Hell knowing what I know now I could make a lancer fast for under 4000$.

yeah dude, I have a body kit, but your car can go either way pretty well. I mean, mine can too,... LOL dude, do what you want, but if you do get a kit, just keep it clean as possible... the more aggressive it looks, the less mature it seems..
