So I was curious, can headers be powder coated? I know anything Can be, but will it last and look good?

 

Probably wont last long.

 

Jet Hot coated. The powdercoating when jethot coated contains ceramic and therefore resists heat.

yep, you are going to want to ceramic coat it. And you probably are better off buying the headers that are already ceramic coated

 

yeahh I guess that would work if I wanted a sterling or nickle bling blign color, but I want my header to be green hah. so I guess im **** outta luck eh.

well not like a ugly green but a bright neon green, cause Im tired of going to car shows and seeing red and blue colors in the engine bay I think its annoying after a while... But eventually my interior is going to be a mix of gunmetal grey and neon green.. so i figured i would bring that to the engine..

I'd stick with something darker for the interior. As for your header, I don't think any vibrant color would look very good

 

lol, well even if I decided against green, I dont want it the same color as everonye elses... but i guess they are only one color for a reason...

You can also get jethot in black.....but the polished look ceramic coat will turn green if it is done when the weather is really humid.

im not gunna lie if I made a show car it would probally have pink on it, i just wouldnt wanna drive around with something pink on my car

kungfu, are you refering to spray paint high temp? the kind you use on break calibers? ehh the finish wont look clean it looks okay for a breath caliber but not so much when u actually stare at it, and when your at a show with your hood poped up the header and engine head are usually the first to be viewed...
