I have been using NGK V-power copper core plugs. $1.50 a pop and have the best conductivity of any spark plug. Only downside is they don't last quite as long.

Major +1. In all my years, I've never seen a spark plug make any real difference on these cars.

there only 2.30 a plug by me...and like 2.60 on sparkplugs.com

my thing is why is it that it gives a different size for an 02 and an 03...i was pretty sure there the same engine...so im not sure which plugs are right along with what gap...since it gives me .32 on an 03 and .44 on an 02

I would just go with what the gap says for the spark plugs you buy. Most of the plugs are .44 tho.

i have some V-power plugs and i like them. when i first got the car i got NGK iridium IX plugs... which i didn't like. neither did the car. for some reason i was getting cylinder 3 misfire codes all day one day so i changed plugs.

after that i switched to autolite double platinums, and then the other day i switched to the V-power plugs since it was time for a tune up. i noticed the idle went down to normal after i start the car a lot faster than it did with the platinums--though it could be just because the plugs are gapped properly.

.044 is the maximum gap if i remember correctly, i think the range is .036-.044 (unless you have an aftermarket hood you can check the stickers on your hood), i set my gap to .040 which seemed like a nice happy medium.
