I know that the bulbs in our AC controls are #74, are the bulbs behind our guage cluster also the same # or are they something different. I've actually found a place that has colored #74 bulbs but I don't want to buy anything before I know whats back there. Hopefully someone that has taken their cluster apart can share whether or not they are the same or not. Thanks guys/gals!

 

The bulbs behind the gauge cluster is bigger than the ones the A/C panel. Where did you find the colored bulbs? Please post a link or something, thanx in advance

The ebay bulbs are hard to tell if they are larger than the bulbs we need because it doesnt show the bulb in the holder.

If anyone has a bulb # on the instrument cluster, it would be greatly appreciated

i know someone has to know.
i got 4 194 led and 1 74 led bulb all in blue from www.superbrightleds.com. for my other car but if they fit the lancer then ill put them in it. my other car is not here at the moment so i havent had time to install them buy i did try the 74 in the ashtray on my lancer ad it looked good to me

 

The one in the dash gauge cluster are bigger than #74 and won't remove from the twist thingy. I just busted one trying. I need a new one and don't know if they sell aftermarket ones or not

Actually they weren't 194 either. They were bigger than the 74 but smaller than 194's What I did to change the color of mine was went to the local salvage yard and pulled some #74 twisties and all out, ordered some blue bulbs from http://********************/74.htm, and completely swapped them out. Looks good to and they shine completely blue. No bluish green. I will post pics when it gets dark enough to see. -JT
