about bugs!? I don't know if it just a Wisconsin thing, or if it's everywhere. But the amount of bug guts on my car after like 5 minutes of driving is disgusting. I wash the car for 2 hours, and after 5 miles there front looks like poop. I was wondering if there is some sort of chemical that gets them off but doesn't hurt the paint. Now I use that bug and tar remover by turtle wax, but there has to be something better. Just wondering if you guys had any secrets you wanted to share.

 

I've used this ever since I owed cars! Used to live in OR and had to park under pine trees at home, and the sap was horrible. Then I move over here and get more bugs than one can image.

To both the OP and SLVROZ_03 - thanks for the Turtle Wax tip. I'll be purchasing some of that ASAP.

 

I live in the country in Maine and the bugs are horrible.. I just use good old fashioned elbow grease, a microfiber towel and detailing spray usually if its just a few things otherwise I wash it.

 

Don't have bug problems in AZ, its waaaaay too hot.
