Something like a light bar would be good.
Well my ultimate plan for the front end is a light bar setup. I am going to span a piece of steel from bracket to bracket and eventually have 4 5" off-road specific lights. It will look alot like this.

I know its a different car and that will greatly affect how the end result will turn out but I think this is more rally style then how I have it now and this is the direction I want to go.

what about painting the rims bronze
I did think of that but I haven't found a bronze that I like yet. I would want it to be a little darker then Prodrives gold. I think the white would look more fitting for rally since the WRC EVO's have the white wheels.

Yeah, something like that is what I had in mind (but without the ones on the grill).

Kinda like this \/. Gotta love the quickie quality, eh?

Aaaah. Me likey! I think that would look good! I'd probably use some angle iron to attach the lights to since its cheap and easy and strong and then maybe run a 3/8" lag bolt all the way through to the bumper beam? Huh. I'll have to play with that idea!! I like them mounted up a little higher cause the snow gets pretty deep here sometimes and I think they will get snowed out if they were that low? Could you do up another quickie of the lights mounted in the grill? If not that's totally cool. i'll try some photoshop action up at school next week if you can't.

How's that? Another horrible quickie, but you get the idea.

Yeah, the Hellas on the Subaru are a better size for rallying.

Here's what you're not getting - the images being used are not the same size. If you go back and look, those are good-sized Hella lights. But because I suck at Photoshop, the image gets shrunken when I move it to the Lancer.

Just use your imagination a bit, OK?

Thanks. I just wish I could do it better. It'd be nice to get the Hellas on there full-sized for the true effect.

I wasn't able to get some more pics taken this weekend (damn school). But I was able to get a cross bar made to mount the soon to have 4 Pro-Comp 5" lights and take off those fog lights. I am also going to try and use photoshop up at school to get a better visual of how the finished product will look. I'll try and post that up along with some wheel color change pics and see what you guys think!

Here are a few pics of the new lights. I am going to add 2 more to them and build a new light bar that mounts to the top of the bumper instead of in the grill so they will be a little lower too.

Let me know what you think!!!

Looks sweet. We need to get all the Lancers in Utah together for another drive. I really like the rally look. One of my favorite OZ's I've seen.
