My OZ Rally!! Rally style...

Updated pics with new flaps and lights on page 4!

Here is my baby! An 03' OZ Rally. I am modifying it towards rallycross and some occasional weekend rallying on the local logging access roads.

Current Mods:

4" Cyber White fog lights (custom mounting brackets)
3" cold-air intake pipe
K&N drop-in filter
Shortened shifter
Doja shift knob
RRM rear strut tower bar
Energy Suspension end-link bushings
de-badged trunk emblems
Redline 75w-90 gear oil

I have some bigger future mods but I'm just waiting for the money. Stuff like RRM X-bar front strut tower bar, front EVO MR Bilstein struts, Energy Suspension bump stops, custom alloy skid plates, Evo VIII spoiler, and the Ralliart EVO VII side graphics, i'm gonna upgrade the lights to some spot beam ProComp off-road lights too. Let me know what ya think!!

I see you want to do what I did and use Evo front struts! Those Bilsteins aren't cheap though...

Nice car dude, glad to see someone else into rally.

Never thought I would see someone from URG here

Ya luckily mine never had the front plate bracket put on. I'll try and get some rally pics in the dirt and some night pics with the lights this weekend. Thanks for the comments.

Ya I know the Bilsteins aren't cheap but they are tough as nails and stiffer then the stock OZ struts so they should work out pretty nice for rally. I just can't afford some 3000 dollar DMS setup or anything like that. I'm not into it enough to go all out, just enough to have fun!!

Very nice looking OZ. I really like the fogs too.

But why does this look funny to me?

Mine didn't either; hooray for the single-plate states!

Lol... I have a K&N drop in filter in the stock airbox with the stock intake pipe to the throttle body but I have a 3" pipe from the airbox into the air space behind the lower driver's side of the bumper. I will take a pic this weekend so you can see what I mean. I did this because I wanted the advantages of a cold air intake without the intake roar of a cone filter.

dude i love it.
Thanks Justin!!

Ya I wasn't to sure about them at first but there growing on me. I think once I upgrade to the 5" spot beam ProComp lights with a clear glass lense it will look better. The blue lense doesn't really match anything or go with the theme of the car (red/black). I've since tucked them back about an inch so they don't stick out as far either.

I think we EvoM oldtimers used to call that "ghetto ram air" if it makes more sense to folks.

Srsly though, someone may get tempted to rip those off. May want to find a place to tuck them away.
