Rear Lip Installation

Wasnt exactly sure where to post this. Oh well.

I recently bought a rear lip for the 05 ES, and needed help with some installation.

It looks like I'll have to drill holes into my bumper in order to fit it in, but I dunno if drilling THAT many is necessary. My brother told me he used only a few bolts and bonded the rest on.

Pics time:

There were no instructions, just came with these screws..

and the lip:
note the bolts seem bonded on, and they do not show on the other side (the outside, the side that everyone sees)

lol well from the outside its pretty much the ralliart lip, but the annoying part is that theres so many bolts to attach to the bumper.. so I decided to check here what people thought if I ought to drill all the holes or do something else?

That sucks...maybe get a long piece of paper and trace out the bolt holes and use it as a template as where to drill

reminds me of how the stock oz lip is
pretty much almost the same thing
when i took off the lip, i had approx. 15 holes in my front bumper
imo, i don't think it is neccesary to put that many screws unless your lip does not have good fitment

my new lip has perfect fitment, and i only have 2 screws in temporararily until i get it painted

so i guess in all it depends on the fitment of ur lip (for safety reason)

just a guess, hopefully that helps?

hmmmm but the bolts are bonded onto the lip... do i break them off or what? i'll have to re attach them later too if i want to use them.and the angle of the bolt might be off when putting them back on..

great... lol

Those are self tapping screws so it looks like they want you to drill holes. You try some double sided tape?
