yes, in the shade graphite gray does look purple. i almost bought a graphite gray volvo s60 and then a lancer because of that. not much shade in AZ, though.

the guy from Dubai has a lancer that seems to be more that color though. his is for sure a color that is not available in the U.S. look for the lancer from dubai thread.

It's graphite gray. The blue tones from the sky make it look different. 100% USDM with the LHD and the gigantic halogen reflectors that you could talk to Pluto with.
