My First Post!

Hey all,

My name is Matt and ive had my white 2003 lancer es for about 2 years now. ive been a member of this forum ever since i decided to mod my lancer and feel like even though i still may not know all that much about cars, ive learned alot and know much more than i did before i started. I realize that our cars will never be the speed demons that the evos are. I have changed my mind about what ive wanted to do to my car so many times i can't even remeber all of my crazy and unrealistic ideas. At first i wanted the evo spoiler and bodykit like many other new lacer owners. however after much debating (and lack of funds) not to mention lack of funds being an 18 year old college student ive accepted that my car will never be fast unless i turbo it which although i respect and admire those who have turboed lancers i think its too costly for my budget and i just want my car to look and sound kinda cool untill i can afford a faster one... maybe even an evo someday. now when i say cool i know alot of you older members probably cringe and think im a cheap kis whos gonna make my car look ricey to the max lol. however i do have some class. over the years ive aquired an evo 8 spoiler evo 7 tails from rmr and the evo grill. i also had 17x7 enkei rs6's but want to go smaller to 16's (bc of the ****ty roads and bent rim problems in CT ) so my plan now is to keep it within a reasonable cheap budget but without sacrificing class. My grill is flat black, and ive been eyeing some 16" flik FTD's from edge racing which are also flat black, also im looking to get the rrm type 2 fromt lip and keep that flat black too as well as putting on my evo 8 spoiler.

gosh it feels good to explain my story to fellow lancer enthusiasts after all this time thanks for listening

- matt

Welcome! I'm moving you to Show & Shine, though. That's a better place for showing off your car.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone...
and as for my wing... i like the look of the evo wing on the lancer. i know the rexpeed one is badass but i dont have that kind of money to blow on it. i payed like 100 and some change for the wing in the picture with shipping from ebay
