OK, finally an update. I finally got a cat installed. Ended up getting one from justmagnaflow.com for $63 shipped. Took 2 days to arrive (from GA to TX). Took it to a shop and they put it on. Sounds waaaay better. I haven't heard it outside the car except from a camera, but that's not how it sounds exactly. From what I can tell, it's moved the high pitched noise from the 2-3000 rpm range up to the 5-redline range. Much better cause I don't usually drive up there anyways. So to solve the high pitch raspy sound, get a magnaflow catalytic converter. I'll post comparison videos in a minute.
BEFORE THE CAT
WITH THE CAT
I listened to them back to back like 20 times and all you can tell from this camera is that it's a smoother sound without any pops. But in person it sounds way different.

I think I'm hearing impaired, because I don't hear a difference. Did the Cat get rid of that annoying bussing we were talking about? Well, I have a new problem mine is starting to sound like a john deere, and it's pissin me off! lmao

Yeah that's what I mean. From the camera you can't tell the difference, but in person it's way different. Much quieter and smoother sounding. I'm happy with it now and I'm not affraid to go over 2000 rpms anymore lol.

Yeah, I've only heard the buzz once now when I was flooring it, and it only buzzed around 5000rpms to redline. I'd highly recommend a magnaflow cat to remove that sound.

Get one from justmagnaflows.com. And get one without an o2 sensor bung because the ones that come with it have it before the cat and won't do anything for you. Costs $63 shipped from GA
Get the bung, install the cat backwards (yes, you can do that), and lengthen the O2 wire - no SES light!

Well damn, I called that website to ask that and they said you can't turn it around, it only goes one way they said. But yeah, the muffler shop didn't have any bungs in stock so I said I'll get that part done later.
Hmmmm....maybe I won't do that, and I'll get a cat with an 02 sensor there? lol, I'm just so tired of my bright *** orange light telling me to service my engine, and SOON, lol.

Yeah me too. Either way, as long as you have a cat BEFORE your second o2 sensor, you won't get a CEL anymore. So however you decide to do it is up to you.
