A productive weekend (mostly)

So this weekend I went to my friend's house to put on some new springs and the Kamikaze header/DP/RRM test pipe. Everything came out great. The springs give it a nice low stance and look great. I recommend B&G to anyone who wants a drop. I'll have some before and after shots soon. Put on the header/DP and came into some problems getting the stock stuff off. The second o2 sensor got stripped and the test pipe is way too loud. So now I'm running super rich, draining gas like a viper, and I won't go over 2000 RPMs to avoid the noise. So I need to get the sensor fixed and a High flow cat installed before I get to feel the results. Then spur of the moment, Tim (kustomconcepts) decides he wants to cut out my grill. I always wanted to but didn't want to mess with the bondo and cutting and stuff. He did it and it came out great. You can kind of see where the slats were cut off because we just sprayed over it with black spray primer, but we'll fix that up later. It looks fine for now till I get some money to make it look better.
Now for the pics:

Compared to stock, the stock runners look a tiiiiny bit bigger...

But the exit is definately bigger and theres no cat or screen

It's a bit too long so it pushes my muffler out more and rattles against my rear sway bar perch. That will get fixed when I have a high flow cat put in because the exhaust is way too loud with no cats.

Springs:

New grill, I'll be getting mesh eventually. Not too worried about it now.

I'll get some daytime pics of all this soon. We just happened to only finish things once it got dark.
Thanks for the help Tim. I decided to go home next week so I can get this all fixed first.

Same here I was looking for them also. Another question, isn't it bad when you just put springs? I have NO clue about suspension, because I know everyone looks at the stuff on EBAY and does a super frown on them, watsup with that?

People frown on springs more because of the fact that your stock shocks aren't made for that drop so if you drive rough on them you will most likely blow your shocks. Some blow them in a week, some don't blow them at all.
Heres some sites for them:

i thought about getting headers and doing a custom exhaust to quiet down the exhaust

but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of getting headers?

Loud doesn't mean fast. The noise and the airflow properties of an exhaust are not always perfectly related like you'd think.

well i was thinking about getting header to a mini mufller and then a resnator and then to a muffler yes the cat is delete becuase of the header set up.

but i would think it would be too much and wouldn't get any gain

Well you technically won't get much of a gain on any exhaust mod, but you can feel it more in certain spots of the powerband. Headers and downpipe will be louder and help with flow, and a cat will make it a little quieter, and won't restrict flow much because we don't need very open exhausts anyways.

Hey Drucea, do your kamikaze headers make a noise like a buzzing noise while your driving? I have the same headers, but I have a catback exhaust with a stock cat, and mine makes a buzzing noise that sounds HORRIBLE when I'm driving, but only when I hit about 4k RPM's does urs do that too?

yeah, around 2-4000 rpms it turns into a high pitched buzzing noise, worse than the notorious honda sound. That's what I'm hoping to get rid of this weekend.
