Looking at it again and remembering the one I saw somewhere else a long time ago, I think the swap wouldn't look as bad if done with all the stock evo stuff, and not some crazy bumper that doesn't match at all. I think if you swapped the exterior, control arms, and widened the front wheels, it might look decent.

I think its going to be my plan to put that front end, with the control arm and some proper wheels, on my 04 lancer. I just don' t know much about changing out the radiator support.

Aren't the radiator supports just those little metal brackets at the top that bolt on with one bolt?

He means this thing...



The radiator support, headlight support, etc. etc. depending on who you ask. The top one is the US Lancer. The rest are Evo. You can see the shape is totally different.

the top one is a 02/03 es
The 2nd is evo
the 3rd is an 02/03 es with the conversion that is using the evo support, the one that started the thread

the 4th is an 04 and up.

I meant the supports were Evo not the cars. Oh, and I forgot about the 04+ being different. Oops.

Are my eyes messing with me or do I really see that there is no turbo, but that there is only the CAI with a BOV on it! Someone please tell me that my eyes are just messing with me!

anyways…the car itself does a great job of looking like baboons red anus…but…I think the side exit exhaust takes the cake for me…
