oz trunk holes

just a question to those that went spoilerless or changed spoilers with the OZ model

did you guys fix the stock holes urself or did u get the shop to?
how much did the shop charge (approx)
and for those that did it themselves, was it difficult?

or those that did BOTH, fill the holes, then take the trunk to go get it painted

any comments are fine, thanks in advance

think u posted in the wrong forum buddy

but most people just get little plugs to fill the holes with. thats what i did. paint costs to much money* jsut go up the autozone, little black push in plugs are like.. 10 cents. and no one ever notices unless there less then 1 foot away and looking right at them.

there are simply too many holes to just fill with grommets on an OZ trunk. either have a body shop take care of the trunk, get an ES trunk and have it painted--or go CF. you'd have a hard time filling in the holes unless you were good with metal work.

would the aluminum be easy to paint?

i got a better idea. my car is white so when i went wingless i went to a sign store and got a strip of white vinyl sticker and cut it into 1 " circles and put it over the holes. its barely noticeable.

Yea...I got one too, I hate it!

But I got an OEM EVO VII spoiler to compensate!
