I dont think anyone here has purchased from that company. Not many people are willing to send funds to thailand and import a bumper by itself without risk concerns.

 

I think accolade should duplicate that '03 widebody & hood, then.
We've only been asking for it for five years now.. c'mon.

Im not suggesting they stop making '08 stuff; the 08's cool as sh**..
However, the '02-'03 Lancer has so much aesthetic potential; but its just being deprived, due to its width.. or lack thereof.
If it were wider like the Evo, I think that would enable it to actually appear more elegant than the Evo; given the softness of its design versus the sharper, more aggressive style of the Evolution.
Let the Evo be the Graceful-Supercar it is; its beautiful ipso-facto.
While the Lancer's its subordinate; having a wide-body like it, would allow it to make a mark of its own.
It being "just as big" would neutralize the disappointment of Lancer's performance incapabilities.
We would have ourselves a sort-of IS-250/350 situation; and perhaps it may even increase the potential resale value of our cars.
Thats the missing element.. It's not it needing an Evo-looking hood, or an Evo-looking grill, or spoiler, that make the difference; those are just accessories (as far as looks are concerned..)
Its the natural lines, and overall shape of the women, that make 'er turn heads when she passes.. not so much the outfit.
Since shes got it where it counts; Shes sexy 'cus she doesnt have a choice.

..Trust me, Im Brazilian.

Lancer can rival Evolution in this department..
I think some of the money being put into Lancer's other body parts, should instead be put into developing an hour-glass figure for the '03.

Installation of a Wide Body Kit Requires the Following,

Rear Fenders and Door Fittings have to be Pop Riveted to make it permanent.

This will also requires Additional Bondo to make the door Lines Smoother.

It will also require a Full Primer to the Doors and Rear Trunk Side Panels and will require Full Paint to the sides and Also Front Fenders.

Cost of Painting of the Kit - I calculate at USD 4000.

Cost of the Wide Body kit - I calculate at USD 2500

Total USD 6500. At the Moment due to very few People who order kits at that price I am sure the potential for Wide Body Kit is very low.

I know that many people just speak about things when they just look at it, Practically if we develop a kit and if the customer has to pay that much amount of money for paint. we basicaly get the blame for it,

 

But nobody asked for Painted Kit..
I ordered your Evo 9 Rear and it didnt come painted.
Im fine with that.
Let the person apply it (or have it applied for them,) and paint it on their own time, the same as people do with just about every other body kit.

2500 seems somewhat reasonable for that WideBody actually; although CreateFiber asked 2000 and theirs is also including an Original Vented Hood & Two Choices of Front Bumper (C-West Replica or OEM Evo 9 Style) but its just that noone trusts them as of yet, given their distance.
For your price, could you guys include similar options & that style hood also?

I am not speaking about us painting this kit.
You need to understand that we cannot paint the kit because wide body panels have to be installed and then painted.

Have you ever checked out the cost of painting and installing a Wide Body Kit.
On Avaerage it will be USD 4000 - USD 5000


At the Total Cost + May be little extra I am sure you can Trade your Lancer to a Evo - rather than making it look like a Evo.

 

What accolade is saying, which I agree with, is that the kit MAY be affordable to some, but not many people, and after that paint will cost so much that no one will buy the kit because they won't have the money, or want to spend the money, to get it painted. Basically it's like every other expensive part for our cars, everyone says how great it would be if someone offered it, but when it's produced, no one has the cash to buy it. Accolade would waste way too much money on this just to sell maybe 3 kits.
