Need help designing custom grill

Due to the fact I had a small wreck and the recent hail storm, I'm getting a body kit and some other mods. I've seen the RRM grills as well as the Ralliart grill but the RRM is kinda plain and the Ralliart gets kinda pricey for not being original. What I'm looking for is someone to give me some ideas to build on and something I can show my body shop guy so that he can make a custom grill. I'm asking all of you because I don't do well drawing in photoshop and my artistic ability on paper is limited to abstract and doodles. Here is the hood I'm getting and the grill doesn't have to be seperate, it can be molded onto the hood so it's all one piece. Any ideas would help.

Oh yeah, it doesn't have to be in photoshop. If you want to draw up something and scan it, that's fine too. Anything will help.

Well, I just came up with what I think is a good idea for your setup. Make a grill that is styled the same as the vents in your hood. Start with the EVO style grill to begin with. Then put three vertical bars in the middle. The middle one will be straight up and down. The other two bars will be between the middle and the sides of the grill, and angled. The bars would have a smoother look if they were tapered, being wider at the bottom and thinner at the top. Also, blending the bars into the sides of the grill will give it a better look as well. If you can't catch my drift let me know and I'll try to fab up a drawing with photoshop.

I'd say , cute the middle part out of your grille (the part with the mitsu logo) and make it smooth so its kind of like the JDM grille. Use the same mesh you are going to use (assuming you're using wire mesh) for your bottom grill and put some of that in there. And maybe a mitsu logo in the middle???? Just the firs thing that came to mind.

It's the zenon kit from shark racing.
Thanks for all the ideas and keep them coming.
My guy at the body shop also said something about basically molding onto the hood so it looks like it's extended and shaping it to match up with the vents. Dunno for sure what we'll do yet.

Here's one I was thinking about, which might look better with the bumper, and easier to make than my initial suggestion. Start with the EVO style grill, and put in either one or two horizontal bars so the openings would be shaped like the front opening on the bumper. Two bars might be a little too much, but I think one would look pretty good. It would then look similar to the Ralliart grill, which is the best looking in my opinion.

Another idea, which would take a lot of fiberglass. Fill the grill in quite a bit with fiberglass material and leave two openings in the shape of the smaller holes on your bumper. It would kind of like a BMW look to it.

As for everyone else, keep the thread on-topic. If you have a question about the hood or kit, use a private message.
