i tried bleach and everything..... it just left a white residue.... this chrome is not like a paint... its more like a metal bonded to the plastic... i cut my finger on it.... its just like metal... lol

ahh...well it must be different than what's on emblems....because i tested out my ES emblem and it came off. I also did the LancerCedia emblem from japanparts. Bleach is great for emblems.

Still have to paint the "lancer" part black (the color of the "lancer" is the color of the plastic underneath the chrome) :

yeah.... i think the emblems have the toy car chrome on it... lol... and it would be hard to find a big container to soak the whole grill in it....

love the grill i was going to try something like that but got lazy and just put the a bigger mesh on the cut outline

chrome was a issue
we ended up heating it with a heat gun
watch out not to melt it
when it's heated the chrome is easyer to peal off
i still have some under my nails
