SlvrOz117's Build Thread :)
im still on the fence
i mean i would like an ep3 badly but im looking to find one so i can sell my lancer and use that money to pay for it completely so i wont have to finance anything
and so far i havent found any in my area like that
there are a few that are in my price range but i wouldnt be able to afford the whole thing therefor i would have to finance some money and if i have monthly payments i wouldnt have money to mod it..
weighing the options right now im thinking about keeping the lancer
there are a few things i really wanna do to it before ill be happy
-coilovers
-paint ralliart grill silver
-jdm evo mr taillights
-16in Rota GT3(bronze
)
-and do something with the rear end because the stock spoiler makes the back end look awkward so if anyone has any ideas for that lol
-possibly turbo if i can ever save up that much haha
so for now i guess im keeping it
but if i find a good deal on an ep3 in my area im going to have to hop on that

Well here is what you do if you really want to go that route... Stop spending money on the lancer and save as much money as possible. Then go get that civic in December or January or something along that time...

BTW.. lol thats how you can afford to mod it lol... I make payments on mine and I figured you being in college too did the same lol... If I didn't have payments I would have my Ralliart Foglights, Vortex generator, Headlight eyelids, and I could get rid of the stock headunit and finally use my two 10' rockfords!
i cant save money because i have the mod bug bad hahah
i always need to be buying new things for my car
but that is a good idea
but it all depends if there are any 02-05 Civic Si with low miles in the market around december or january
chances are slim considering the cars are kind of old and hard to come by(well atleast in my area)
Don't do it man! Trust me, I know how you feel. At one point with my Lancer I was about fed up with it! I was basically saying the 4G94 is about as good for power as a paper weight. I wanted something faster and better looking with more features. So I started looking at TC's Yeah, I may hear people saying its a chick car blah blah blah but I was looking at more power, fairly cheap, and standard kick *** sun roof and tons of aftermarket/forum support. It looked like a deal to me. But obviously I didn't do it.
Reason being, my Lancer is my first car I can't have everything you know? In this coming March it will be PAID OFF and I'll have money to do other things. And when that day comes I'll have money to do other things such as more modding or even save up for the car I really want (We should all know what that is) I know that bug is biting you bad cause it has me but just stick with what you have. Soon enough before you know it you'll be where you want to be and you won't have a another 3-4 years of payments to worry about. Get yourself that ballz to the wall Evo/Ralliart in 2 years or how ever long and enjoy your Lancer's journey in the mean time. 5 years for now are you gonna want that FWD Honda or that EVO???

You need to over come that bug bite and save some money on the side for incase your car brakes down or something happening to it. I might have spent about $700 on unexpected events. But let me tell you how good it feels when taking care of it that same day or the next day.
