Carbon Fiber Gauge Bezel

Ok, so I was bored the other day and decided to look for Evo Clusters for the Lancer. Well, I couldn't find one for a price I liked close to my mileage so I decided to take another path. I made a stencil of the area around my gauges and cut it out of a piece of sheet metal. I tried it first with a sheet of wood, but it was too thick to work. Anyway, I took the sheet metal bezel and wrapped it in a carbon fiber vinyl. I think it looks nice, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea. Check it out and let me know what you think.

very nice!

that's pretty good work. nice to see someone pimping out the ES guages instead of just buying evo ones.

+1... That thing looks very clean and nicely done... I'm impressed.

Looks nice. Normally I'm not a CF-vinyl fan, but that came out really well. And it looks good in the dash.

Nah, ordered the Vinyl from an online company called rvinyl.com It has adhesive already on the back. It actually wasn't too expensive either...about $10.00 shipped for a 1' x2' piece. I didn't knowplaces like autozone carried it or I probably would have just bought it there and not had to wait for it. It may have been better to do that because some air bubbles popped up on this. If I ever do it again, I will do that so I can smooth it out without the whole thing sticking instantly.
