i would have gone with the double din in dash screen..thats what im going to do..i dont like having a space under it..but its not bad...

and like somone else asked where do you get the fitments from?

 

I want to do that to my front bumper so bad but I am affraid of messing it up and being stuck with a crappy looking front end. Maybe someday I will give it a shot. Or buy the cover peice from RRM when they release it...

 

It just sticks up so high out the dash when displayed. It looks like a sail.

Plus if your playing a DVD a cop can see that a mile away.

 

Use matte black vinyl ... if you mess it up, just peel it off and try again. My vinyl looks the same as the paint.

 

got the dash kit and wiring harness from installer.com. dash kit was like $30 and the wiring harness was $15. dash kit was too shiny for me so i painted it flat black.

Seriously, should have stuck with stock.

 

it's hard for college kids to get mods when you have to pay like $1k for damn textbooks and $200 for a damn calculator, but since school's out next week, i'm looking for another job so that i can get some REAL Tenzo DC-5s or DC-6s. still cant figure out which ones to get. while driving, the lancer turns more heads than it did with stock, so i'm happy with it for now.
