Thumbs up Highschool budget BuildUp [56k..nah]

MY first tread ever:
i wanted to post up my ride once it was worthy enough.
still far from it but i think its about time to contribute and take some advice from others.

Working at subway for 3 years,i saved up 3k to get myself a hoopty because riding a beater to school is much cooler then the big yellow school bus. anyways, picked me up 02 es for only $2800!! 4-5 months ago.. [my mother's a bargainer ] anyhow kinda fell in love with the thing although i had some good minor defects;

ie:
dents;
big *** Front bumper scrap,
Broken sway bar;
CEL oxygen sensors;
Fuses;
bad sparkplugs;
all the light were out;
missing parts;
a faulty auto tranny ;
and an ugly *** grill. all that good stuff

kinda hurted to see a lancer go down like that
so i had to put a little work into it :

Needless to say, i got them all fixed myself [ but with a lot of help from the threads here; Thanks Guys] , I even bondo'd and painted the bumper myself and i did this all under 600 bucks including the grill from accolade.

As you see; i got the car a little bit of suttin suttin while keeping my bank leveled:

Grill: $100
Carbon Fiber Evo 8 spoiler: $100
Custom SRI: $30
Seibon Carbon Fiber Evo-Style Hood
Carbon Fiber Gas Door Lid
Carbon Fiber Center arm Piece
Vortex Genrator [flew off]
Freedom Design front Strut Bar; Rear Bar; Toe Bar
HKS Oil Catch Can
Sparco Carbon Fiber Gas Pedals [manual & selling]
All off an ex-Lancer Owner for $250

tallying up to about $3400

Upcomings: in order

DIY Eye Lids and Black Out head lights
Tinted tails
Hoodpins
Painting side mirrors and parts of hood
vortex generator
Ground Wires
RIMS* 17" or 18"; my brother got me some but some jerk off stole em from my driveway.
Lipkit
any suggestions?

anyways; ill keep you all posted and i just some stuff i needa get rid of to get more stuff

looking good. not a bad start. You should def get some rims though, those will make a huge difference, also lowering, preferably coilovers, if not some decent springs

RRM sales a nice set of progression spraings. Will drop the car a little bit with out killing your stock shocks. Also look into getting some scholarships and grants for the college. They do wonders

A Seibon hoob like that is gonna run easily 350-450. I think new from Seibon its about 600? But don't quote me on that. I could easily be wrong since that's how much they run for my 06 =/
