Lol. That pic was me man. Are you my long lost twin? lol. And ya your car looks super clean. In regards to taillights, I bought the TYC ones that are black with chrome rims. I now think they look a little ricey and I want some evo 7 ones or similar. I think the stockers are hideous IMO. Think Imma go with a 7-8 mixed theme on my car. Im going to however make a big sticker that says in white letters NOTANEVO to go across my window. I laugh everytime someones like "hey nice evo" and Im all like ya sure is a nice lancer huh. I dont even so much wanna copy the evo as much as I want to customize my lancer. Its really hard to get out of the evos shadow obviously as we own lancers and all they really make for body mods that are halfway decent are evo lookalikes, but I want something different and I want everyone to know its a lancer, NOTANEVO. Bear the lancer name proudly my brothers LOL.

 

So basically super excited because you get 8 days of hanukkah where as we only get one day of christmas? Im jealous. Why you got to rub it in? BTW, notice that this guy drives an evo. I wonder why they even bother coming in these threads? We should all get together and go into their forums and start posting comments like, Entering this thread was like running downstairs on one of the eight days of hanukkah and realizing Im not jewish............... Its just a joke. Haha. But it really happened. But Im kidding. But seriously.

It's alright man, Most Evo guys that troll the Lancer forums have a superiority complex and just need to get their fix. It makes them feel good to know that there are people out there that are less fortunate than them. It's always gonna be there too, it's just they type of people they are. Honestly if I were fortunate enough to own an Evo I wouldn't be a dick to people just because I had a faster, more expensive car. I'd want to help and encourage them. But that's an OT rant I'm sorry.

Sorry for trying to turn your thread into my angry ranting thread. Lol. Im glad your going the direction you are. What are your future plans for this car? Are you just going to keep things simple or do you really wanna go all out with it?

 

It's all good man no worries. Umm yeah as a matter of fact there's a turbo waiting for me to earn some more money to install it, but other than that i'm pretty much done. I'm content with the way it looks on the outside, now I just want to work on the performance

 

Good man. Im glad to see so many people so interested in building their cars. All the lancer guys around here just go as far as putting rims on their cars and stereo systems and then call it good. There is one with a carbon fiber hood and hids but thats it. Keep up the good work. Ill be following your progress.

 

Soooo it's been a pretty long time since i've updated this thing. I've been in college this past
year so all my money for mods is completely shot. School's too damn expensive. Not to mention
these a-hole's at TXST keep bumping, stepping, and dinging my car. People have no respect...
Anyways here's just a couple shots cause I felt like it's been too long.






And some pics of the windshield I had to replace cause some a-hole stepped on it. Then a couple weeks later someone backed into me and put a big gash in my front bumper. I swear if I find these guys they're toast.

Yeah I was pissed haha. But I know now to park between poles in parking garages.
Lots of space on either side and no one has any reason to walk over your car.

I had the same problem with him, but he took forever to write me back and didnt seem like he spoke fluent english. The shipping took a month and I hope they dont break...
