hahaha nice man, i agree the blue looks odd... the red is the best, tho without the rims the green doesn't look horrible; not that i'd ever be caught driving a lime green car that looks like it drove straight off the screen of fast and furious. lol no offense.
nice use of boredom man

lol never be caught driving a car that color, I think it's more of a show car color

Yeah... I think I may have put a little too much red on that lip, I guess just the face
of the lip being red would look better rather than the whole lip itself.
Well you nailed it on the head. I agree... even though it's not a horrible color it would be soooo easy to identify you would have to drive like a grandma or get tickets left and right.
*Car gets pulled over*
"Sir do you know how distracting and gay that color is?"
"It's not gay! It's like fast and the furious!"
"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to step out the car."
"For what?!"
"Sir I'm going to have to arrest you for being stupid."

hahaha...yeah. So you actually thinking of painting the car a different color at some point?

how did you take off the lancer? is there a proper process? my cousin told me to just use a blow dryer...
Yep, just use a blow dryer or a heat gun to heat up the letters, then use floss or fishing line to "saw" the letters off. Wipe the residue off with goo gone or 3m adhesive remover.

Just be careful if you've got a black or dark colored lancer, I've
heard that it can leave some noticeable scratches, the letters
I mean. You can still kinda see the outline of the letters on my car
at a certain angle
Some touch up paint might work for that... but then again touch up paint is always iffy...
I just took some rubbing compound and a rag and swirled it around to blend the faded with the non faded then took a little polishing compound to it. You can find it at your local auto stores. I used the turtle wax stuff. I have a yellow lancer that I debadged but I also did a black jetta 1.8t and I think the results came out way better on the darker jetta.
I dont care about the lights cause you only have them on when you want to. If they are turned off, no one will ever know you have them. I personally liked mine when I had them and would probably still have them if I hadnt boardslid my car across gravel. Having said that, I dont think I would willingly buy another set and install them. But its just an opinion thing. I think its creative and those electrical skills will come in very handy for DIY work BTW. Youd be surprised how many people cant wire up something as simple as LEDs.

Haha thanks guys, yeah like I said I really don't have them on much anymore, I put them on back when I first got my car and I thought they were the coolest thing ever lol. I don't know what you mean by rice lights if you're talking about the headlights or tail lights, either way personally I think they look 100x better than the stock ones.
I think he means the headlights. I think its a very creative idea. Weve learned alot in the time weve owned our cars. If I had actually had money when I first bought my car, it would have reeked of rice. Now I really want a contemporary JDM look and I laugh at hardcore ricers with their bodykits hanging half off the car and what not. How do those projectors do at night? Pretty good light output? I really really want a set for my HIDs cause Im tired of getting flashed all the time. BTW, rice lights comment man up there has an evo, not a lancer.

The projectors actually do really well, when I first bought them they
hadn't been adjusted so they aimed straight at the ground and I
thought they were broken lol. But since I adjusted them they've been
great. Only reason I wouldn't recommend these lights is because
a. I had to take one apart to re-glue the halo back on after it fell off
b. The same halo that fell off now doesn't work
c. They start to fog up pretty quick (atleast here in houston)
letter at a time, I think that'd be your best bet
that sucks that the halo doesn't work now. I guess the quality of craftsmanship depends on each unit, and/or the different manufacturer.
and how are those lights rice? maybe the original lights with the blue LEDs were a little rice but not distaste-fully so.
