For the G64 swap, I can get the engine for about $450, and get a tranny for $150, car-parts.com it's your best friend. As for the AWD I can get a salvaged evo for about 1300, so I would have everything I need in there.

Wow, you're pretty set as far as parts go. I'm jealous

And yeah I was really thinking about getting black headlights, but if I go black headlights I'm going with Cedias ftw! And I thought about blacking out the stock ones but the l.e.d.'s in there would probably fry

Yeah, the wheels are one of the very few benefits of working at Discount Tire

Sooo this hasn't been updated in a while... I just took some pics the other day but it won't let me upload them... since the last time I updated I've done a couple things... debadged the rear... bought some Luminics Pure Blue headlight bulbs... and that's about it... saving up for a few engine mods next, but apparently it won't be worth it. Unless I go turbo, which I really don't think my high mileage engine could handle

I'm at about 110K with no problems. As long as you took care of it, it should be ok.

This is going to be your best bet, or buy another motor and fix it up and boost it while it's outside the car, then sell your old engine.

Yeah... only issue there is the $$$

I've been thinking about a swap, like taking the engine from an Eclipse GST and trying to build that up. Maybe find a wrecked eclipse at a yard somewhere.

It would be cheaper to rebuild your current engine.

So by rebuilding i'm assuming you're meaning new pistons, rods, camshaft... even a new head?? That's a lot of cash... then on top of all that buying a turbo... i'm 17 with a part time job at discount tire. oh well... maybe i'll just hold off on the engine mods

So just a small update. Since the last set of photos all I've done is debadged the LANCER off the trunk, inserted some Luminics Pure Blue Headlights, and popped some clear reflectors on the side, enjoy
