Rims!

alryte so im stuck at which rims to buy. Its either the Tenzo DC-5 ver 1 or ver 2, Rota Torques or the MSR 043 all of them in flat black. I really want the MSR wheels but they way about 23-24 pounds. Im just curious if the weight of the rims will effect the performance of my car? and does anyone know how much the other rims weigh? your suggestions on what rims you like best would be great too. thanks guys

I had the MSR and didn't like them, too heavy.
I am a big fan of Rota's so you know what my advice to you is.

Don't get a big rim and don't get low profile tires. Then you should be fine with weight.

Did the MSRs like make you get less gas mileage cuz the weighed more or slowed the car down?

I didn't track gas mileage because I had engine damage during that time so my MPG was pretty low. But they weren't comfortable and always had to watch every bump. Performance is loss when our car get big rims. So don't go bigger than 17, I would personally go with Rota Torque 16".

tenzos are not very light weight, and yes if you increase the size and weight of your wheels you will notice a loss in acceleration. there are some inexpensive lightweight wheels out there, check out wheelweights.net for a list of weights.
