6000 K are pushing it in my books since light output drops.

I guess it also depends on the kit you get.. my friend has 6000k on his Lexus SC the light output is pretty good... but he also has projectors. I was referring more to the actual color... 6000k looks closer to stock HIDs (4300K)

I personally would go for either 6000k or 8000k. Go ahead and get the hids

I'm going with 4300K because I want maximum light output.

I'm happy with my non-hid headlights. I wanna get hids in the near future though.

i would also recommend 4300K, its close to natural sunlight and has max light output. sure the 6000K look cool and blue and stuff but tends to look very ricey and like its been said before does not put out as much light as 4300K (<--most stock HID temps)

the hid company that sponsors me recommends using 5k. its more of a white and it is pretty bright. if you want something very blue get a 10k.

If someone has a set of chrome headlamps can u post a pic i would like to see them applied to a lancer. thanks
