hid kit?

How do you guys feel about HID kits? I drive a yellow 03 OZ with an accolade body kit and hood. I put a custom blue mesh over the gaps on the kit and was wondering how you guys think a 6000k or 8000k hid kit would look ? Also i was wondering if anyone has any expeience with either of these two illumination levels when it comes to illumination performance, glare and cop issues and also which companies build a solid plug n play conversion kit. Thanks for the feedback

HIDs in non-projector housing are horrible, they glare like mad and blind oncoming traffic. Moreover, the temperatures you've selected offer worse visibility than standard halogens, they are purely for show.

So then HIDs on projector headlights would look better?
I'm planning on getting projector headlights, so should I keep standard bulbs on or convert to HIDs?

HIDs on projector headlights are fine since they actually have the correct cutoff.

So then how about HIDs on these...?

Since they're dual projector would the HID bulbs be on the low beams only? What is the second projector for, turn signal?

I presume that's for the turn signal. If you buy a bi-xenon kit, you can have HIDs for both high and low beams.

hid's with hid projectors would be the right way to do it. Halogen projectors are different from hid projectors. I personally am against sticking hid's in any ol headlight. Its blinding to other people, and just looks ricey.

HID's definitely look and function better w/projectors.. but if you're going to get them w/out it... go w/6000k. 8000k and up start looking real ricey.
