As OZ Rally stated. The car could still be dirty. If you look closely at the rear fender it looks white and dirty with hand prints like someone rubbed off the dust. Other than that from this POV it looks great.

 

Its the same color as the trunk and that wasn't painted either.

The new bumper looks good, the only way you would pull off that spoiler is to have a bodykit or something to balance it out some.

That's my figer prints. Because the car is so dirty that eachtime I opend the trunk I would left a mark. Lol.

 

Clean you car, Mitsu's already have a reputation for crappy paint jobs. You keeping it dirty is going to make it worse.
Just ignore what people are telling you about the paint job, they're not there to see the beauty of it so they don't know.

But seriously, wash your car. Do it for her!

Yeah, that's the issue confused me all the time. I really want a more powerful lancer, maybe what I need is a turbo, but since I live in canada, there are very few places that I could add a turbo. In the summer I almost sell my lancer for a 04 STI, I like the feeling when the turbo kick in. On the other hand, I would lost about 1w on my only 1 year lancer, so I decided to keep it. Maybe next summer, I will drive down to RRM and turbo it.

Hate the wing but love the bumper. Looks good. I want a bumper like that for my 06
P.S. - The bumper will fade into the other parts of the paint once its been in the sun for a bit. Just park it outside of your place and let it sit and in a few weeks you won't even be able to tell the difference. Had my front bumper and rear bumper repainted and it did the same thing but after a few weeks of being in the sun it blended into itself.
