i've heard people say that 17's rub without lowering the car, but i also know that people do have 18's, so they will fit. but your most likely going to rub.

Talk to "teamslamdotcom"... his name is Stew. He's got 18's and I dont think he rubs. He also has progress springs giving him about a 1.7" drop all around... PM him.

My friend has 18s with 205/35/18 and he doesn't have any problems. They rub a tiny bit on the wheel well at a certain turning point, but it's soft plastic and won't hurt anything. Just make sure to get a 18x7 inch rim (7.5 is wider than you need) with about a 41mm to 43mm offset and 205/35/18, maybe 215/35/18 tires.

btw anything that fits on the OZ should fit on the ES just as well, but your speedo will read just a hair slower, since it's calibrated for a stock tire size that is a tad smaller than the OZ stock tire size.

I have 18" rims on my OZ and have not experienced any rubbing. Offset is 45, and tires are 215/35.

Good luck to you!
