RRM/CarbonTrix 2008 Lancer Mirror Covers

Got these for Christmas, wanted to show everyone how they look. But before the pics, the first set I got had a defect and after seeing a picture Rob made an exchange for another set. I have to say RRM has hands down the best customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. Will have better pictures as soon as we get some warm weather, and I will have some other parts to add as well.

I dont know why the size changed after i edited the one above...i never resized it...

And here is a picture of the defect on the one that I returned.

Cool. Just a little over the top for me and a little too stealable but you like em so keep modding!

I live in a pretty good area so getting them stolen shouldn't be an issue, and unless u get up close it is harder to tell that it is carbon fiber. Looks like black mirrors for anything more than like 20-30 feet, unless in direct sunlight.

They look good. Subtle mod that you don't notice till you are right beside it, then... damn.Do they just stick on over the oem mirror?

Ya with 3M tape. Holds real well too. With the amount of tape on mine once it was in place not much chance of moving it without messing the paint up lol.

Yeah, RRM is alittle expensive, but so far got the market for 08 and 09 lancer parts and aftermarket upgrades, once more start coming out, I bet they will drop a bit.....I like the covers, but for that price, I got a set of overlay mirrors caps, with the LED parking indicator for 120.00 shipped. One thing, IMO I don't like the "spare" tire look

If by spare tire look you mean my wheels, those are steel wheels with winter tires. I have my stocks off since I'de like to live through the winter. And if you guys know ANYTHING about carbon fiber products, they are not cheap. If I'm not mistaken carbon fiber cost 80/square foot. So figure each mirror is a little less than a square foot of material. As for the price ya they were 149.99, I just made a guestimation since i didnt have the site in front of me when i replied earlier. I suggest you go look around on other sites and see what they charge for carbon fiber products. I bet you will have a hard time finding anything for less than 100 no matter what the part is for. Plus carbon fiber is one of the strongest and lightest materials you can use for car parts.

If you buy the right carbon fiber. All carbon fiber is not the same. And I'm going to leave it at that...

Looks really cool on silver. Takes away the Dumbo ear look for sure plus they are real CF and you get to keep all the functionality of the stock mirror. SWEET.
