I figured i would toss a few pictures up now the show and shine section. basically the final outcome.

I just drove her home today, and im extremely excited, so much power. The car really came alive with this turbo setup.

it is a t3/t04e 60 trim w/ a .63 a/r hosing. It is a larger turbo compared to most lancer kits out there. And im really glad i went with it, power and spool come on so quick everyone was surprised.. Q did an awsome job with the build, im really glad the experience shows in there work. Car rolled out the shop perfect.

Custom manifold/Downpipe/Testpipe/intercooling piping, basically everything custom built and designed by EPM.

I did do some wire/hose management, so it looks a little better now, I think we were plannin on doing a real photoshoot sometime soon.

i did record a little pull in the car.. was only partial trottle, and only partial tune, but you can hear the car opening up under boost. I am aware its going pretty lean. (tuning isnt finished) Short Pull, partial trottle

we logged it at 7psi. hp/trq still not known. ill know more by the end of the week, we didnt finishing tuning it. we only did a partial tune so we could drive it, Wide open trottle is awsome in every gear but 1st.. wish i had some good tires..

Short Pull, partial trottle and yes it does lean out alittle in the top end, i jumped way past 7psi so it went lean.

 

Daniel, stay out of boost for now if it's leaning out that much. My logs last night showed it in the low 12's ... maybe it was the gear I was in. It seems that I will have to do some more fudging to get it dialed in on that MAF.

 

Your wideband is saying the car is pretty lean during that pull. Are you running Meth ?

Congrats on getting it up and running.

 

Lancers have an issue with skewing lean up top in a turbo application. It takes a lot of tweaking to the MAF settings to cure the issue. I made some changes last night to Daniel's car and got it down to the low 12's up top, but it seems that my data may have been incorrect as the video obviously shows a very lean mix. I'll be working with him to fix the issue as it is completely unacceptable in the current state.

 

ya ill stay out of boost as much as possible

 

whoa thats really lean! touring, i hope you find a solution with this common issue

 

what the people above have said. it leans out a great deal in the higher rpm's, let the other guy get the tune right before all your money and time is wasted
