how long should i wait after getting my car repainted to completely detail /wax it?

A week? No....
You want to wait at least a month or 2 before you detail it fully. I waited 3 months on mine, just b.c the wax that they come from the dealer with is realllyl nice. Wash it in a week yes, but wax it, thats just unnecessary

 

Wash as much as you want, but the guy above me had the right idea. Don't wax it for about 3 months.

 

At least 3 months.
The paint takes at least 6 weeks to fully cure, depending on the weather.
When you wax/detail, remember to clay the paint before waxing, or else you'll be miicroscratching the entire clearcoat.
