Why are there NO PARTS OUT FOR 09 Lancer GTS!?!?

I've been wanting to get parts for this car and all I see is parts from Road Race Motorsports that fit this car and nothing else and i really wanted an Injen Cold Air Intake but they dont have one that fits the 09. Now that I look at it... even in these forums the Lancer is only 2008+ but the Ralliart Lancer forums is 2009 wth is goin on? There is such thing as a 2009 lancer right lol thats 2.4L engine instead of the 08 lancer thats 2.0L engine?

someone please clear this up for me so I know that i jsut gotta wait for after market parts if i dont want RRM parts

if you do some searching you would find that the injen CAI does fit the 2009 2.4L lancer.

how do i know ? Cuz ive had it on my car for about 4 months and have photos of it installed in the show and shine section under a thread showing the mynes hood dampers i installed.

the exhaust parts for the 2008 are the same also. so i dont understand why your waiting for parts, just cuz it doesnt say 2008-2009 doenst mean it wont fit...

yea...when it says 2008+ the "+" means years after 08 which I believe includes 09, lol.

I got nothing against RRM just to get things clear and Injen has told me that they havent done any testing and development for CAI for the 09 Lancer and they recommended NOT to put an Intake thats meant for a 2.0L engine on a 2.4L engine guys... ive posted similar threads to see how many feedbacks all say something like "I've put 08 intake for 09 lancer and it works fine, or it doesnt matter" to see if I should jsut do it also instead of waiting for Injen to develop one for the 09's. That is why I have two similar threads posted in different places where i thought was relevant.

INJEN said that for liability reasons, if a car screws up for what ever reason under the sun, because they didnt do that disclaimer, they could potentially be on the hook. I beleive AEM said it as well. The actual truth is, the engines are virtually the same. Same platform design, same MIVEC. its gains should be comparable.

Only a test will prove that ...

i understand and we also dont recomed that you put a 2.0l intake on a 2.4l thats why we made and entirley new intake JUST FOR 2.4L our V2 intake is MADE FOR A 2.4L.....

I believe Injen is looking for a test car in CA. Try and go for that.
