no you dont see a side mount.. its on the side..

no.. its just an off centered intercooler durr.. a side mount would be in the door or the fender just above the boost fluid and behind the blinking fluid resovior.

Side-mounted intercoolers are generally smaller, mainly due to space constraints, and sometimes two are used to gain the performance of a larger, single intercooler.
