Hey Mad_C no worries man no rush, I'm still looking into the slim possibility of using the rhd lancer rack, so I may need that as well.. although I doubt it will affect the shipping quote much.

Jehuty, thanks man, I'll keep you informed.

Wait, wut? I must have missed something over the past few pages. What's Toyota or Nissan about the car?

hmmmm and at mitsu I'll need to pull parts diagrams for 3 different cars lol
That part can be a hassle, if the parts guys at the dealership are anything like the ones here. All I have is a 1G 6-bolt bottom in my 2G and when I explain what I need its like they want to get hostile or something because the very idea is so alien to them. Its best to have researched and have part numbers ready before you go in there because those type of guys aren't usually people persons.

He's using the tranny from a supra and the steering rack from a skyline.

I would not be surprised if another car's parts slipped in there...but you know what? Whatever fits or gets modified to fit, works. As long as it can be made to work with the car--correctly--then there's no reason not to do it.

I do like the bit about when you need parts; where do you go? Toyota, Nissan, Mitsu? lol

still slow going.. most of my funds have been invested in the evo x projector replicas. They should be done soon so that will allow funds to be directed back at this project. The goal is to have it complete for next season so we still have plenty of time. were still measuring and brainstorming ways to deal with the steering rack/subframe issue. I'm also trying to get all these oem parts boxed up and shipped for all the guys waiting.. its hard to find boxes that big plus time to drive across the boarder to ship. Hoping thursday to have everything sent off, then waiting for the voltex kit to come in. were also looking into possibly using the evo rear axles, hopefully they will fit.. the outlander ones are twigs and I cant see them taking 100% of the power. Or we have Driveshaft shop make some but I'd rather test the evo ones first.
I'll update with some pics hopefully soon.

evo tails wont fit a lancer unless u change out the rear fenders which require other mods to the back end. u can get lancer taillights that look "similar" to evo ones though.
